A five week workshop in which students will explore hand-building and the potter’s wheel in the formulation of vessels using porcelain clay.  Unique high-fire luster glazes will be used in the embellishment and firing process.

Discover the ancient process of lost wax investment casting in Bronze using state of the art 21st century techniques. Learn how to make a mold of almost anything, replicate the form in wax and magically transform into bronze with a wonderful patina. We have the astounding ancient and contemporary bronzes of The Toledo Museum of Art as a direct resource.  Tom Lingeman has been teaching and working in cast bronze for over 30 years.

Exploration of Watercolor--Light & Color
