CHIN 1120 ELEMENTARY CHINESE II [4 hours] An introduction to Chinese language and culture through listening, speaking, reading and writing. Laboratory practice required. Prerequisite: CHIN 1120 or satisfactory score on placement test. Humanities core course.
CHIN 1080 CULTURE AND COMMERCE OF CHINA [3 hours] Study of Chinese culture and society with emphasis on business and economics. Taught in English. (Not for major credit.) Humanities core course.
