
On April 21st, 2008, the Honorable George V. Voinovich visited the Lake Erie Center to take part in a roundtable discussion that examined the health of the Great Lakes. A number of speakers led the panel discussion, including:

- Dr. Daryl Dwyer, University of Toledo, Lake Erie Center

Following the presentations, there was a significant amount of informal conversation regarding the health of Lake Erie. Specifically, the audience discussed with the panel issues related to algae blooms, open lake disposal, and sedimentation. Approximately 50 people attended the discussion.
