Dr. George A. Lopez from the University of Notre Dame will be presenting “U.S. Policy in Iraq and Iran: A Gandhian View” as part of "The Gandhi Lecture for Peace and Nonviolence" on Sunday, October 5 at 3:00 p.m. in the Doerman Theater. The event will begin with a peace walk at 2:00 p.m. View the Gandhi Peace March Route here. This event is being co-sponsored by: The University of Toledo College of Arts and Sciences, The Hindu Temple and Heritage Hall of Toledo, The University College of Engineering, The, Office of the Dean of Students, The President’s Lecture Series on Diversity, The Department of Theatre and Film.
Elie Wiesel
Elie Wiesel will be at UT on Thursday, October 30 at 7:30 p.m. to speak as part of the Edward Shapiro Distinguished Lecture Series. His speech is titled "What The Ancient Masters Can Teach Us About Confronting Fanaticism and Building Moral Unity in a Diverse Society."
Arts Living Learning Community
Through the ALLC program, first-year UT students majoring in the arts live together and take part in special programming that develops and supports their academic and artistic interests.
CAS Ambassadors
The CAS Ambassadors are students who volunteer to assist with College with programming and special events.
