Welcome to the Department of Early Childhood, Physical, and Special Education!  Programs housed within this department include undergraduate and graduate licensure programs in early childhood education, gifted education, physical education, and special education (intervention specialist licenses in early childhood, mild/moderate, moderate/intensive, and visual impairment; MR/DD early intervention certificate, transition to work endorsement). In addition to initial-level licensure programs, the department supports graduate programs that deepen students’ level of understanding in the areas listed above.
