Dunseith, Herman J. and Marjorie M.
Marjorie and Herman Dunseith met at a dancing class while in high school. Marjorie attended Scott High and Herman attended DeVilbiss High. After Herman received his B.Ed. at Toledo University in June, they were married in August 1940. Herman taught, coached, and was a principal and then a superintendent. He received his M.A. from TU in ’48. Marjorie received her P.H.T. (pushing hubby through) when she successfully guided Herman through Cornell’s doctoral program in ’58. Marjorie and Herman enjoyed many happy years of retirement traveling between seasonal homes in Leland, MI and Cape Coral, FL. Marjorie was pleased with the retirement community of River Woods at Exeter, NH. “No meals to plan or cook or dishes to wash.” Herman and Marjorie were blessed with 66 years of marriage plus their six years of courtship.
