The Judith Herb College of Education is pleased to announce that The University of Toledo (UT) will be offering summer 2008 scholarships for pre-school through 12^th grade teachers in schools in northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.

The summer scholarships will cover the equivalent of the tuition for 3 semester hours if the teacher enrolls for and completes 9 semester hours of coursework between May 12 and August 1, 2008. The value of the scholarship is approximately $1,500.00. To qualify, applicants must be enrolling in graduate courses at UT for the first time or after not enrolling at UT for more than five years. The courses must be graduate level work and applicable to a graduate degree program or licensure area. The scholarships will be limited to the first 50 (fifty) teachers who submit the application and enroll in at least 9 semester hours of coursework for summer 2008 sessions. Summer 2008 registration opens on Monday, February 11, 2008.
