    Swim Lessons

    Fall 2008 Classes & Spring 2009

    Weekend Child Learn-to-Swim

    This learn-to swim programs is for kids 6-13. This program is appropriate for non-swimmers and beginner swimmers. Attend as many of the following sessions as you like. NOTE: Make up lessons or refunds will not be offered for missed sessions.

    Class Days Times
     Class 1 Sept. 20, 21, 27,28,  Oct. 4, 5, 11, 12 Saturdays @ 10:15-11:00am and Sundays @ 1:15-2:00pm
     Class 2 Nov. 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23  Saturdays @ 10:15-11:00am and Sundays @ 1:15-2:00pm
     Class 3 Feb. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28,  Mar. 1  Saturdays @ 10:15-11:00am and Sundays @ 1:15-2:00pm
     Class 4 Mar. 21, 22, 28, 29,  April. 5, 6, 18, 19   Saturdays @ 10:15-11:00am and Sundays @ 1:15-2:00pm


    *Bring: swim attire, towel, and pad locks. Parents may observe from the pool overlook or the pool deck.*

    Cost: $50 for children of UT students or SRC members and $60 for children of all others.


    Weekend Adult Learn-to-Swim

    This learn- to-swim program is for youth and adults age 14 or older. This program is appropriate for non-swimmers and beginner swimmers. Attend as many of the following sessions as you like. NOTE: Make up lessons or refunds will not be offered for missed sessions.

     

    Class Days Times
     Class 1  Sept. 20, 21, 27,28,  Oct. 4, 5, 11, 12 Saturdays @ 11:15am-12:00pm and Sundays @ 2:15-3:00pm 
     Class 2 Nov. 1, 2, 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23  Saturdays @ 11:15am-12:00pm and Sundays @ 2:15-3:00pm
     Class 3 Feb. 7, 8, 14, 15, 21, 22, 28,  Mar. 1 Saturdays @ 11:15am-12:00pm and Sundays @ 2:15-3:00pm 
     Class 4 Mar. 21, 22, 28, 29,  April. 5, 6, 18, 19  Saturdays @ 11:15am-12:00pm and Sundays @ 2:15-3:00pm

    *Bring: swim attire, towel, and pad locks. Goggles are encouraged, but optional.*

     Cost: $50 for UT students or SRC members $60 for all others.

     
    Swim for Fitness

    This program is for adults age 14 or older. This is not a Learn to Swim program, and participants must have good swimming experience. The emphasis will be on stroke development and swimming workouts. Attend as many of the following sessions as you like. NOTE: Make up lessons or refunds will not be offered for missed sessions.

    Class Days Times
     Class 1  September 15 - October 29. No class on October 20 Monday and Wednesday evenings@ 5:30-6:30PM 
     Class 2 March 16 - April 22  Monday and Wednesday evenings@ 5:30-6:30PM

    *Bring: swim attire, towel, and pad locks. Goggles are encouraged, but optional.*

     Cost: $30 for UT students or SRC members $40 for all others.

     

    Parent/Tot Water Adjustment Class

    This program is for parents (or trusted adult) and toddlers/preschoolers age 1-6. Parent/adult will be in the water with the children. The program focuses on fun interaction in a warm water pool-helping to get the children ready for a learn-to-swim program. The program is facilitated by a trained swimming instructor. NOTE: Make up lessons or refunds will not be offered for missed sessions.

    Class Days Times
     Class 1  No classes are scheduled for fall 2008

     *Bring: swim attire, towel, and pad locks. Parents may observe from the pool overlook or the pool deck.*

    Cost: $50 for children of UT students or SRC members and $60 for children of all others.
